We are pleased to announce that St Joan of Arc School Quiz Night will take place on Friday Feb 4th in person!
For those new to the school, SJA’s annual Quiz Night is the only adult-only event of the year & is always a great evening for parents and teachers alike! Whether you’re a general knowledge buff, or a contender for the wooden spoons, the night is always filled with a lot of laughs.
Featuring, for his third consecutive year, our fantastic in-house Quiz Master and Y2 parent Chris Sudall!
Doors open at 7pm (Northolme Road entrance) for a 7:30pm start. There will be a cash bar and raffle T.B.C. on the night. Tickets cost £20 per person and the price includes, as is SJA’s tradition, a fish and chips dinner (vegan and gluten free options also available). Concession tickets are available please contact the organisers for inquiries.
Teams will sit in tables of 8. Due to the pandemic, we will have the following COVID measures:
- Tickets will be limited to 72 (9 teams) to allow for social distancing in the hall.
- All guests are advised to take a lateral flow test before coming to the event. If you test positive, you will be offered a refund.
- Doors will be left ajar to increase ventilation.
- Guests will be asked to bring a mask and use it when not eating or drinking, and particularly when moving away from their table.
Tickets are on sale now! The first step is to get a team of 8 together and email sjoacommittee@gmail.com with the subject “Quiz Night teams” and the following information:
- Team name
- An optional image/logo for your team fundraising page (.png or .jpeg formats)
- Name of eight team members, plus the year group(s) of their child(ren).
If you are by yourself or don’t have a full team don’t worry! Just email sjoacommittee@gmail.com with the subject “Quiz Night teams” letting us know how many people you have, and we will get a team together for you.
Once your team is registered, you will be able to buy the tickets. Please note that your place in the Quiz Night will not be confirmed until you buy your tickets, even if you have already registered a team.
Lastly, if you don’t fancy taking part in the quiz but would still like enjoy a fun evening while helping raise money for the school, there will also be opportunities to volunteer at the bar, marking, etc. And volunteers will get a free dinner as well! Some roles are compatible with taking part in the quiz too, so please consider helping us:
