Year 6 visit to the Ben Kinsella Exhibition

This week, Year 6 visited The Ben Kinsella Trust for an important workshop about the dangers of knife crime. During the session, the children learnt about the life of Ben Kinsella and about how he became a victim of knife crime.

 

With the course facilitators, the children discussed different scenarios and how these could be navigated in order to keep themselves safe. Whilst speaking about incidents of this nature can be upsetting, Year 6 learnt some valuable lessons to help themselves and others stay safe.
