SJA Mini Vinnies turn concern into action

SJA Mini Vinnies are leading the Lent Appeal to raise money for Catholic Children’s Society (CCS) to support local disadvantaged children and families. This initiative encourages all the pupils of the school to think about ways they can raise money and save what they have raised in the Lent Appeal box and return to school after the Easter holidays.

Well done to our Mini Vinnies who made over 50 Easter cards for the Highbury SVP to distribute to the some of the residents in the local community. The children spent their time colouring and designing the cards to react the Easter season. They also include a Bible verse to remind us about the love of God. The Mini Vinnies were happy to present the cards to the Highbury SVP representative at our school.
