Year One Special Assembly

Year 1 really enjoyed showing off all their outstanding learning at the SJA museum today in our special year group assembly. Year 1 took the lucky parents through different exhibitions, starting with the poets showing off their poems in the English exhibition. Polar explorers told everyone about arctic animals in the science exhibition. In the geography exhibition, the children explained what continent they would like to live in. Our artists displayed their masterpieces in the art exhibition. We finished in the music exhibition showing off our knowledge of the different instrument families, with a couple of beautifully performed songs. The year 1 children were clearly very proud of all their learning over the past half term.
