Tennis success

Early this month, twelve children from Years 3 and 4 represented SJA at an Islington Tennis Competition. They done incredibly well to get chosen for the team, considering over 60 children attended the trials! The children were split into two teams to compete on the day and competed against other local schools.

Our second team consisting of David, Ife, Ethan, Joseph, Oscar, Zofia and Betty narrowly missed out on reaching the finals, but should be proud of their efforts and for representing the school so brilliantly.

The first team got through to the finals and went on to finish in third place, which is incredible as there were 24 schools competing! Congratulations to Oliver, Orlando, James, Mae and Blanche who displayed excellent sportsmanship and were a credit to their families and the school.
