Reception’s visit to Discover Children’s Story Centre

Wow! What a fantastic day Reception had at the Discover Children’s Story Centre! We went through a fantastical circus tent and into the woods. In amongst the trees we found an amazing, marvellous, EXTRAORDINARY… Monster Funfair! We went on an amazing adventure searching for the monsters who stole the candy floss, made food in the cafe, dressed up in many animal costumes, became pirates and rode on mini bumble bees!

We then had a story session where we designed our own monsters and gave them fantastic names; some very cheeky names were created 🙂

After our sessions we ate our lunch and finished our day with some fun in the wonderful playground area! It really was a great time!
