Maths Week!

Next week at SJA, we will be having a themed Maths week focusing on the Women’s Super League. In Maths lessons, children in Years 2 – 6 will be learning about statistics whilst children in Reception and Year 1 will be learning about geometry and shape.

During assemblies this week, a representative from each class chose a team from the Women’s Super League at random. This will be the team that their class will be supporting and monitoring the progress of throughout the course of the season.

6N – Liverpool

6M – West Ham

5L – Man United

5K – Leicester

4J – Man City

4I – Aston Villa

3H – Brighton

3G – Bristol City

2F – Arsenal

2E – Chelsea

Year 1 – Everton

Reception – Tottenham

We are excited about all of the Maths learning that will be taking place next week and will be sharing examples of this throughout the week.
