Anti-Bullying Week

Last week (WB 11th November), the children in years 1 – 6 participated in anti-bullying workshops. A facilitator from ‘Perform’ came into school over 2 days to run the workshops with each class. The children worked in groups to create freeze frames to capture the different character roles involved in bullying – bystander, reinforcer, ring-leader, assistant, defender and target. She taught the children how to positively defend themselves and they became super hero protectors. The children were engaged and left the session empowered. A huge THANK YOU  is extended to our wonderful parents association who paid for these workshops in full.
