Autism Acceptance Week from 27th March to 2nd April 2023
As part of our school’s commitment to raising awareness, we have planned the following activities:
1. School assembly on neurodiversity (child-friendly): We delivered a school assembly on neurodiversity to help children understand and appreciate the diversity of brains and different ways of thinking. Please see the video link below with a summary.

4. The National Autistic Society colour: If anyone from our school community wants to participate as a group in the National Autistic Society’s Spectrum Colour Walks you can find more information using the link below. The National Autistic Society colour Walk
5. Readthon Challenge: As part of your readathon challenge, why not try a book that celebrates difference or Autism. Reading list attached from children from Reception to Year 6
We believe that these activities will be a great way to learn about autism and promote understanding and acceptance in our school community.
We hope that you will join us in supporting this important cause.
